Introduction
The Contour Next Test Strips (50 strips) are over-the-counter blood glucose monitoring test strips designed for self-testing. Manufactured by Ascensia Diabetes Care, these strips provide accurate glucose measurements and are recognized as the #1 branded over-the-counter test strips in the market. It requires 0.6 µL of a fresh capillary blood drawn from the palm or finger. Its measuring range is 20-600mg/dL means that if the results are below 20mg/dL, it displays as “LO” on the meter screen, and if it is above 600mg/dL displays as “HI” on the meter.
Note: Contour Next Test Strips will not be compatible with the Contour Plus Blue Glucometer.

Second-Chance Sampling
This advanced feature allows users to apply more blood to the same test strip if the first blood sample is not sufficient. Time window for reapplication is 60 seconds for Contour Next GEN and Contour Next ONE meteres and 20 seconds for Contour Next EZ.
No Coding Technology
The strips are equipped with “No Coding technology”, which means the meter automatically codes itself every time a test strip is inserted. It eliminates the need for manual coding and reduces the risk of errors.
Multi-Pulse Technology
It evaluates a single blood sample up to 7 times for exceptional accuracy, ensuring highly accurate results in seconds.
Accuracy and Performance
The test strips meet or exceed industry standards, delivering readings that are within ±10% of lab measurements with 96.7% of accurate results.
Instructions for Using Contour Test Strips
Using Contour Test Strips to test your blood glucose is a very simple process when following these five essential steps:

Insert the grey end of a Contour Next test strip into the meter until it beeps. Apply blood within 3 minutes, or the meter will turn off.

Wash hands, insert a new lancet, and prick a clean fingertip. Allow a small blood drop (≈0.6 µL) to form without squeezing.

Touch the test strip tip to the blood drop until the meter beeps. Avoid pressing the strip against skin or placing blood on the flat surface.

The meter will count down 5 seconds, then display your result and save it automatically. Select a Meal Marker if desired.

If blood is insufficient, add more within 60 seconds using Second-Chance® Sampling. Dispose of used strips and lancets as medical waste.
