How to Attach Dexcom G6 Transmitter to Sensor

• Prepare Your Sensor: First, apply your Dexcom G6 sensor using the applicator. Make sure the sensor is firmly attached to your skin and the adhesive patch (available on CGM Monitors) is secure.
• Position the Transmitter: Hold the transmitter with the flat side facing up and the Dexcom logo visible. Line up the transmitter with the sensor holder. You’ll notice the transmitter fits into the holder at a specific angle.
• Insert One Side First: Tilt the transmitter slightly and slide one end under the first tab of the sensor holder. The transmitter edge should slip underneath the holder clip easily.
• Snap the Other Side In: Push down firmly on the opposite end of the transmitter. You should hear and feel a distinct clicking sound. This click confirms the transmitter is locked securely in place.
