How to use Freestyle Libre 3 Reader:
You’ll receive a quick start guide, a user manual, the reader, a micro-USB cable, and a power adapter.
- The device comes pre-charged so you can start it upon receiving.
- Press and hold the yellow button for one second. Once the reader starts, follow the instructions to set up a date and time.
- The device shall walk you through the complete steps to connect your sensor.
- Insert the sensor, move your finger around it to make it firmer.
- Bring the reader 1.5 inches from the sensor to scan and activate it.
- The sensor can be used to check your glucose after one hour of warm up period.
- Once the Freestyle Libre 3 sensor is activated, it will automatically send glucose readings over to your Libre 3 reader, allowing you to check your blood sugar by pressing one button only – no need to scan.
