Open the watch app while moving settings: The watch app duplicates settings from your phone app. Whenever you alter your CGM settings on your phone app, open and screen the app on your smartwatch while your phone is near to confirm settings are copied to the smartwatch.
See an orangish phone icon: Keep your phone close. When you see the orangish phone icon near your sensor reading, the Direct to Watch means it is temporarily not at work. Your smartwatch isn’t receiving info from the sensor. Instead, it’s repetition from your phone, so you have to keep your phone near.
When the phone icon vanishes, the Direct to Watch mode is working. Your smartwatch is receiving info from your sensor, so you don’t have to have your phone close to receive glucose readings.
Sensor change: When you twitch a new sensor, the phone app will swift you to couple your sensor with your smartwatch.
Let warnings in Focus mode: Manage your phone settings to let Dexcom warnings while your phone is in Focus mode.
Mirror iPhone Alarms from the G7 phone app: Keep this feature on the watch app on your phone. If you turn it off, you won’t get warnings on your watch in either Normal Smartwatch mode or in Direct to Watch mode.
